Spring Forward... :D

OK I love Spring!! Fresh new and everything is alive.  Let me rephrase that , I love spring in Illinois.. LOL Oklahoma spring is so out of control every single day, ok yes we get 70's and 80's faster than everyone else but whew!!!! the wind, torrential rain (that we reallllly need right now), fires,tornado's.  We get it all.  I guess I am just whining because i could not sleep last night I feel like there is so much unrest in the world and I think wayyyy to much about it and BAM!!! up all night, the sad part is I will be in bed by 9 on a saturday night ughhh.. lol  As I sit here and yawn over and over again I really needed to post on my blog.  Click another thing accomplished  have a great day everyone..  :D

Home again

Well my vacation is over.  I spent a wonderful week with my children and grandchildren.  Had the opportunity to  bond with Isabel and play with Sienna I am truly blessed.

Watching my daughter as a mother was something you always know will eventually happen but never sure when until BAM!!! there it is.  You as her mother are confident they can do the job just like you did but in the back of your mind there is this little thing that says, no she cant possibly do this so well, yet sitting there everyday with them ,watching, listening she was born to be a mother.  Isabel is a very lucky little girl to have the amazing parents that she has.

Miss sienna is your typical 4 year old  full of questions and bores extremely easy.  My goal was to help her remember me after I was back home.  We hopefully have the whole phone call craziness worked out .  We will see when I call her next week.

All and all my trip back to Illinois was a wonderful time that I was blessed to be able to have the time to watch my family grow to the next generation.

IS THE SNOW EVER GOING TO STOP!!!!!!

Here we go again another snow storm, and just when I am getting ready to fly out to see my kids and grandkids.  Please lord let the airport be open on Thursday.  Life has a way of throwing curve balls .  Just when you think that everything is going to go smoothly change comes again.  Wouldn't it be nice if we could say OK this is how I want it to happen and life does exactly that.  When I step off that plane and see my son I will cry. I am such a sap, everyone who knows me knows that is who I am.  Being away from my children is hard but hey that is life and we make adjustments daily.

The countdown is on Baseball starts in 2 months.  I am ready to see my stl cardinals suit up and PLAY BALL!!!!  Please Albert do not go to another team .  This is my daily prayer.

Isabel is hereeeee..!!!!

Welll my baby girl did it.. and boy did she do it very well.. April gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Isabel Elizabeth Linley and are you ready? 9lbs 8oz 21 in long Whew what a beautiful healthy baby, i cant wait to get to Illinois and snuggle them both, i miss all my babies and grandbabies. My daughter and son n law did such an amazing job and I am so very proud of them for gifting me with another granddaughter.

I was talking to my oldest son last night and he said hey mom guess what sienna said?  He was laughing so i knew it was going to be a sienna classic and boy was i not disappointed.. He said she came up to him handed him the baby and a bottle that she had previously been feeding , and said " Dad you need to feed this baby because i need to go to work" I busted out laughing,  she is such a funny little 4 yr old..  I will be in Illinois for 5 wonderful days getting all the kisses, hugs and snuggling i can handle.

Still a fan..

Well another season has begun..  American Idol starts tomorrow.  I have been a fan since episode one many years ago, i never miss a show.  Alot of people feel like the show is washed up since most of the original judges moved on.  This is how i think about it.. Saturday night live changes cast members every few years and most of them move on to bigger and better things, but millions still watch the show every weekend looking for that next new comedian, change is very important, we all change.  I am going to be sitting in my living room tomorrow night just like i do every January picking my favorite contestant to cheer on.  My mind will be open to the new american idol , I am super excited to see how its going to move forward..

Saturday night started out like most saturday nights ..josiah watching football, me in the kitchen or changing something around lol..when i get a phone call from april... She said hey mom jonnie wants to show you and josiah somethingand we have to get around the tv.. lol  Ok so we turn the ps3 on and there is jonnie in his living room LIVE!!!!! it was the best present i could ever ever get...let me explain a bit more.. 

When we were trying to figure out what we wanted for christmas from the kids we all do the same thing. i dont know... anything will be fine..but this year i happened to see a PS3 moves, which basically turns your ps3 into a Wii, i loved the idea of finally having something like a wii that worked with the ps3 and not buying another system.. I know i can skype but the difference of sitting in front of the 50 in tv and a computer monitor was really a no brainer.. lol

When we went to Illinois for christmas my wonderful children bought it for us..Ok back to my point.. hehehehe  The one thing i miss the most is seeing my grandchildren grow, pictures are great and i cherish every single one i have, but to see them and they know my voice is priceless.  I can turn on my ps3 let them know i am there and watch the baby play, talk to the baby, see my beautiful children being parents..I am sitting here crying just knowing this is a possibility for us..  

Being so far away from your children and granchildren is very hard, but now thanks to modern technology, my wonderful techi son n law, this is about to be a thing of the past.  I called my oldest son Nathaniel and told him to please get one and we can all talk together.. Ok to sum it all up Saturday night was Amazing.. :D

Time flies

Well i guess i will have a job for a little bit longer, my 90 days are up.. Yesterday my boss asked if the other employees thought that i should stay and they agreed.. It was to cute the way everyone acted all well if we must, but their smiles said otherwise.. It feels good to get up and go to a job everyday where the people you work with genuinely like you and care about your input about what will make the job go smoother for all .  I have truly been blessed with meeting all these wonderful women.
